There are many spots to fish from around Marco Island including sand dollar spit situated on the north end Tigertail Beach and under the Jolley Bridge. Another popular fishing area is Keewaydin Island – the southern tip of the island has been known to be a fairly hot spot (see photos below).

Are there alligators in Tigertail lagoon?

It’s HIGHLY UNLIKELY for alligators to be in the lagoon. First, they don’t like salt water and second, they can’t live in salt water (saltwater crocs are also not near here and are only found at the southern tip of Florida Bay).
